It's 1951 and Mehmet has lost both of his parents. He lives on.the streets of Istanbul forced to be a thief. He thinks his father abandoned him but yrs. later finds out the truth. Will he be able to turn his life around or is it too late?

I found Mehmet to be a sympathetic character and wished the best for him. The book kept me interested and it flowed well. It was a thrilling read.
