In it it tells the story of how a humble pastor became embroiled in the fight against Hitler and Nazism. He became one of the first to speak out about Hitler, became embroiled in an assassination plot against the evil leader and lost his life for it. This is a fascinating read about a good man. It reads more like a thriller than a biography and held my attention. A very good read for history lovers and admirers of Bonhoeffer.
