I enjoyed reading some of your posts, and what a great idea for a blog! I was so close to my Grandmother, and I'm glad my Daughter got to know her before she passed away at the age of 94. She was sharp until the end, and like your Grandmother, she was great at math! I subscribed to your emails, and Liked you on Facebook and Twitter.
ReplyDeleteSHIT! Make sure she drinks a lot of water - that can contribute to difficulty breathing. Happened to my mom and landed her in the ER last month. Please keep the blog posted.
ReplyDeletethanks justfindit4u, i reciprocated the likes. thankfully all my grandparents survived well into my adulthood and i got to know them. both my grandmothers and one grandfather is still alive and they're all characters.
ReplyDeletethanks lori, hopefully she'll only be in there a day or two. her copd is acting up, she took a breathing treatment while in the hospital and they're making sure she doesn't get short winded again or develop pneumonia. good tip about the water, but man, she's stubborn. we keep a big glass of water on her table but she won't drink it even though we encourage her. we've tried kool-aid, crystal light, lemonade, and other beverages but she just never drank a lot, even before she got sick.
ReplyDeleteLisa,
