Blog Love

Today I got my first blog award from Fort Living Room. I appreciate it, since I have a tendency to say what whatever pops into my head. So thank you Fort Living Room.

The rules are:
 1. Thank and link back to the person who gave the award to you
 2. Share 7 things about yourself
 3. Send it along to 15 other bloggers and let them know you have awarded them!

7 things you might or might not know about me:

1. I have a degree in social work.
2. I have a himalayan cat named Sassy.
3. I have a touch of ocd.
4. I can be very impatient at times.
5. There's a 19 yr. age age between me and my husband.
6.  I like kool-aid.
7. I don't like needles.

Now for the best part. The 15 blogs I'm awarding. Some of these have received this before, probably even from the person who I received it from but still:

Each of these blogs deserve the award. They're all interesting and diverse and I enjoy reading them.

  4. Thanks Lisa! You're a social worker! My eldest daughter is interested in taking the same career path as you. So whenever I run into a social worker I ask if she/he has any sage advice for a young idealist starting out.

Anyway, you sound like an intriguing person, but I already knew that - anyone who can share the kind of hilarious sassy grandma anecdotes that you do in such an expressive and succinct way is somebody worth noting and more importantly, reading!

    Thanks again!

    Best,

    Rachel :-)

  5. Thanks so much, Lisa!!

Wish I had been blogging during the time I was caring for my late mother. Back then, reading all your wonderful posts might have made my long days and nights a lot easier. Sometimes, even caregivers need to throw up their hands...and laugh!

  6. Lisa...you are so precious! Thank you so much for the award... you just made my day :-)

I loved learning about you, especially that you are a social worker too. I do have a trend of OCD as well, it must be a requirement to be in the SW field... hehehe

    Blessings, Lisa.
