A Review of Bohemia by Veronika Carnaby
Bohemia by Veronika Carnaby
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Synopsis: In 1960 a group of young friends set out on a journey to find creative fulfillment. But they choose to do it on their own terms, not on the terms of mainstream society.
I was excited to read this book because I always had an interest in the Beat Generation. At first I had some trouble following the book but I think I was just having one of my slow days. Which happen often.Once my brain caught up I found myself drawn in by the language of the characters. I also felt at times that I was a member of this group of young people trying to find fulfillment while not sticking to the mainstream. Even though I left my 20s a while back. So after all this rambling what I'm basically saying is that I dug the book.

Fascinating. I had that same feel of inclusion within the group that you've expressed. I too dug Bohemia.
